Job Responsibilities

As the department assistant, you will be an integral part of the management team, serving as the go-to person for managers and staff across the department. Your responsibilities will span administrative, operational, and strategic levels, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Specifically, you will:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the department, including access management, ordering devices, and travel management.
  • Collaborate closely with the department manager to support various initiatives.
  • Participate in management meetings, taking notes, and summarizing key decisions.
  • Communicate essential information to the department, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned.
  • Drive projects within your area of responsibility, contributing to the department's success.

In this role, fluency in both English and Swedish, both written and spoken, is essential. You likely have experience as a team assistant or in a similar role for a few years. As a person, you are flexible, communicative, and outgoing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) is crucial for success in this role.

The IT department Production and Logistics IT (P&L IT) build and provide IT and Solutions for Scania´s Global production and logistics organization.
